Acidic oxides
Acidic oxides are known as anhydrides.
For example.... sulphur dioxide
Basic oxides
Generally group 1 and group 2 elements form bases called base anhydrides or basic oxides.
For example.....K2O(s)+H20(1)➡️2KOH
Amphoteric oxides
An amophetric solution is a substance that can chemically react as either acid or base.
For example......HSO4
Neutral oxides
Neutral oxides Show neither basic nor acidic properties and hence do not form salts when reacted with acids or bases.
For example....carbon monoxide(CO)
Peroxides and Dioxides
often lithium and sodium reacts with excess oxygen to produce the peroxide.
For example...Cs+O2➡️CsO2
Dioxides like PbO2 and MnO2 contain higher percentage of oxygen like peroxides and have similar molecular formulae.
Compound Oxides
Compound Oxides are metallic oxides that behave as if they are made up of two oxides one that has a lower oxidation and once with a higher oxidation with same metal.
For example....Red lead Pb3O4-PbO2+2bPO
Hope it helps you.....
