Factors affecting resistance of conductor :-
1. Length of conductor (Directly proportional)
2. Area of cross-section(Indirectly proportional)

Factors affecting the resistance of a current are :-
1) Resistance is indirectly proportional to area of the cross section of a wire
2) Resistance is directly proportional to temperature
3) resistance of a wire is directly proportional to the length of the conductor wire
4) resistance also depends on the material of the conductor
Ex :- copper has lower resistance than steel.
Combining all these we get
R = rho . length / area
where rho is resistivity.....
Hope it helps.... :)
