The classification of the heat zones of the earth is done by Greek Scholar Aristotle. According to his classification, there are three different zones in earth arises due to the temperature difference. Even though, some of the concept was incorrect, his classification according to temperature difference is accepted. The various zones are Torrid Zone, Frigid Zone and Temperature Zone respectively. Again these three are classified in to north frigid zone, north temperature zone,torrid zone, south temperature zone,south frigid zone

it Covers 25.99% of Earth's surface. The Torrid Zone, between the Tropic of Cancer 23.5 degrees north and the Tropic of Capricorn 23.5 degrees south. Covers 39.78% of Earth'ssurface. The South Temperate Zone, between the Tropic of Capricorn 23.5 degrees south and the Antarctic Circle 66.5 degrees south.
