Humans impact the environment in several ways. Common effects include decreased water quality, increased pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, depletion of natural resources and contribution to global climate change. Some of these are the direct result of human activities, whereas others are secondary effects that are part of a series of actions and reactions.Humans produce pollutants through industrial activities and waste disposal. The atmosphere, the ground, and the water are all affected by pollution. Pollution occurs any time that a natural ecosystem is disturbed by human activities. The entire world is polluted due to humans burning fossil fuels, destroying natural habitats, and disrupting natural watersheds. Everything humans do contributes to pollution. All of our modern day products are created by a system that is based on pollution.
