Though the dependence with their equational powers can be known by dimensional analysis however the constant occurring in the formula can not be derived from only dimensional analysis!
Experiments have to be then performed for knowing the values of those constants.

It cannot derive relation or formula if aphysical quantity depends upon more than three factors having dimensions. It cannot derive a formula containing trigonometric function, exponential function, and logarithmic function. It cannot derive a relation having more than one part in an equation.
