What are the major difference between a federal form of government and a unitary one? Give examples

in Federal govt, there is more than 2 level of government. like Central & state
ex-belgium
but in unitary either there is one level or other is dependent on Central govt
ex- Sri Lanka

Federal Form Of Government : Its Has 2 or more 2 types of branches

Like, Central Government ; State Government ; Local Self government

Ex : Belgium

Unitary Government : It Has Only 1 Type and it is divided into some sub-units 

1 Type is Central Government----> Sub - units

Ex : Sri lanka 


# Sub-units are never answerable to the people but, answerable to Central Government

# State Government are answerable to people but not to Central Government

# India is NOT is Federal Form of govt.

# India is Quazi- Federal
