Microorganisms or microbes are microscopic organisms that exist as unicellular, multicellular, or cell clusters. Microorganims are widespread in nature and are beneficial to life, but some can cause serious harm. They can be divided into six major types: bacteria, archaea, fungi, protozoa, algae, and viruses.

⏩A micro organism is any living organism like bacteria ,protozoa, or even fungi. that cannot be seen with the help of naked eye.

There are 5 basic group of microorganism :-

1)Bacteria :

▶They are unicellular microorganism

▶They don't have well defined nucleus.

▶Their size ranges from 0.2 to 100 microns

2) Virus:-

▶They cannot be seen with a simple microscope

▶Too see them powerful microscope is needed

▶They are smallest of all organism

▶They can cause many disease

▶They are hetrotrophic

3)Fungi:-

▶They appear to be plant but they don't have leaves, roots etc.

▶They are simple non green plants

▶They are hetrotrophic

▶They may be unicellular

4)Protozoa :-

▶They are unicellular

▶They are mostly aquatic

▶They are collonial

▶They can be free living or parasitic

5) Algae :-

▶A simple non flowering and typically aquatic plant

▶It includes single celled forms

▶It contain chlorophyll but lack true stems, leaves, etc
