Remedial measures for manganese deficiency is carried out by spraying foliar and by soil treatment and application as indicated below:

Spray foliar:

1)Foliar feeding is a technique for treatment of wheat effected by chlorosis. By applying liquid fertilizer directly to their leaves is a possible remedy. Plant absorbs essential elements through their leaves.

2) Acidification by ammonium nitrate fertiliser can reduce the manganese deficiency by lowering the Ph, means acidity. Thus manganese becomes more available to the wheat plants.

3)Manganese fertilisers are available but very costly. Moreover several applications are necessary.

4)Seed manganese coating is also applicable.
