Scope of Psychology.
The subject-matter of our science is, then, the Soul or Mind.
The psychologist investigates those phenomena which we call sensations, perceptions, thoughts, volitions, and emotions; he analyzes them, classifies them, and seeks to reduce them to the smallest number of fundamental activities.
