Yellow banded poison frog is sensitive amphibian.
Just a single touch can lead to its death due to alternation in its nerve impulses that results in heart failure.
Destruction of their habitat ,fires also contribute to their threat. Furthermore , these frogs when captured loose their essential toxins and die.
