Phanerogamae are plants with differentiated reproductive tissue that ultimately make seeds.
There are mainly two classes of Phanerogames :-
1.Gymnosperm :
The plants of this group bear naked seed.
example :-
Pines, Cycas, etc.

2. Angiosperms :
Thw plants of this group has seed enclosed in the fruit. Plant embryos in seed have structures called cotyledons.

Phanerogams are divided into 2 parts

1) Gymnosperms

a) naked seeds are produced

b) eg. are Pinus,Cycas

2) Angiosperms

a) produces seeds within the fruit

b) eg. are rosa synynsis , mangifera indica

 

Eg of vascular tissue which do not produces seeds are

1) merselliea

2) horse tail
