•Gully Erosion -: Is caused by rainfall when streams of water cut through fine soils making furrows or deep channels or ravines. Gully erosion renders land useless for farming, hence called badlands. They are commonly found in Uttar Pradesh and parts of Madhya Pradesh....
•Sheet Erosion -: Is caused in desert areas and vast extensive farming lands. Large part of soil is blown away by strong winds and sometimes rain takes away a layer of soil from extensive fields.....
