Oxygen is found in the form of various oxides and hydrates and is 46.6% of earth’s crust. Silicon and aluminum are found as 27.7% and 8.1% respectively.

Oxygen exists in the form of oxides of silicon and iron in the crust, while silicon and aluminum are found in the form of ores called silicate ores(namely silica sand, quartz, and silica)  and bauxite respectively.
