A unicellular organism, also known as a single-celled organism, is an organism that consists of only one cell.
Multicellular organisms are organisms that consist of more than one cell.
Diploblastic animals are those which have 2 germ layers - the ectoderm and the endoderm. Lower animals like the sponges and cnidarians are diploblastic.
triploblastic animals have 3 dermal layer (entoderm, endoderm & mesoderm)(echinoderms , chordatas and hemichordates).
