✢✢ Tornadoes form in unusually violent thunderstorms when there is sufficient (1) instability and (2) wind shear present in the lower atmosphere. Instability refers to unusually warm and humid conditions in the lower atmosphere, and possibly cooler than usual conditions in the upper atmosphere.

andersonmarc043: I am doing a bout meteorology in geography we might be doing weather radar reading but about the tornadoes she said there caused by dry winds from the south warm air coming from the west and cold air coming from the north which then come together and make a thunder storm and if powerful enough and if the storm is unstable it will create a super cell storm which has a high possibility of producing a tornado
