What challenges did Mahatma Gandhi face on his quest?

Mahatma Gandhi had to go through many obstacles in his lifetime. The obstacles started when he was a child in South Africa where he was discriminated for being an Indian immigrant. He overcame those obstacles of racism but more obsatcles were to appear in his lifetime. As Gandhi stood up for what he believed in against the government, consequences occured. He was put in jail multiple times for protesting and his longst time being 2 years. He kept on fighting through obstacles and even faced many assassinated attemps as many disagreed with his politcal beliefs. His worse and final obstacle was a hindu,named Nathuram Godse. He shot Gandhi to death in Dehli on January 30,1948. Gandhi faced many obstacles in his life and his last one being assassinated, but Mahatma still accomplished so much in his life.
