The Maharaja had taken an oath to kill 100 tigers and he already killed all the tigers of Pratibandapuram but he was lacking by 30 tigers to reach the number 100. So, the king decided to marry a girl of an estate which has ample of tigers and thus, he decided to marry.
In his kingdom, Pratibandapuram, he killed 70 tigers and still 30 tigers away from completing his oath, which led him to make a decision to marry a girl of an estate with an abundance of tigers.
