What could be the nature of A – B bond, if the electronegativities of A, B are 3.5 and 2.5 respectively?

Given,  

The “electro negativities” of “A” and “B” are given as 3.5 and 2.5

The “nature of the bond” formed between A-B is to be found

The difference in electro negative values of A and B = 3.5 - 2.5 = 1

The bonds with the electro negative values less than 1.6 are considered to be polar.

Since, the difference value is 1, the nature of A-B Bond is polar.
