This is typical example of corporate greed fed by corrupt marketing practices. If Nestle were an honest Swiss corporation they could have simply stated that mothers milk should be the first choice for infants and using formula when breast feeding was not possible.
Sure, this would have reduced sales but their reputation would have been intact. Instead they created a market where there was no need for one and they hyped a western style solution to a problem they created.
