• When Gulliver was left all alone in his canoe, he looked through his pocket glass and saw several islands in the South-East. In around three hours, he decided to reach the nearest island. But the journey was rough and while on his way to the nearest island Gulliver ate some roasted (which he had roasted by lighting heath and sea-weed) eggs.
• He had spent the night under the shelter of a rock. After that, Gulliver kept sailing to the other islands one by one until he reached the last island. There in a cave he stored his provision and later roasted some more eggs and spend the night perturbing about his continued existence.
• During his journey to the island he at times used his sail and occasionally his paddles. However, all this was not easy to face and Gulliver found himself lonely in strange parts, depressed and worried lot of difficulties for the period of those four days.
