When George and narrator returned back to the boat, he told them that a swan came to him but he made them flew away from there, then he came with his male partner. Then he said that many swans came there to encounter him. And when George asked him the number of swans he refused to agree with him. And in the morning he said that's he never told them any story about the swans. In short Harris was drunk and told them about the false story of swans.

Once Harris was drunk when his two friends george and harris found him . He completely made an imaginary tale of swans. after he became normal again, he reacted strangely to his own tale when his friends told him about his story of swans. Harris told them : what swans? as if he didn't knew what his friends were telling him.
