Horace was a successful locksmith and had two helpers to help him out.He had a peculiar habit of reading rare and expensive books,for that he would crack a safe(atleast once a year) and then get the books from his secret agent.

Once he decided to rob a safe at Shortover Grange.He studied the house,its electrical wiring etc.He could procure most of the information from a magazine which described the entire house amd which also mentioned that a painting hid the safe!

He was now certain that the robbery would be as successful as the earlier ones.
