Hey there!
The different criteria for classifying plants are as follows :
1) Based on differentiation - Thallophytes are not well differentiated. Others are well differentiated.
2) Based on the presence of vascular tissues - Bryophytes lack vascular tissues. Pteridophytes, Gymnosperms and Angiosperms have vascular tissues.
3) Based on inconspicuous reproductive parts - Cryptogames (Thallophytes,Bryophytes and Pteridophytes) have inconspicuous reproductive parts;reproduce through spores. Phanerogames (Gymnosperms and Angiosperms) have well developed reproductive parts ; they reproduce through seeds.
4) Based on covered/uncovered seeds - Gymnosperms have naked embryos whereas Angiosperms have covered seeds.
Hope this helps ya
