What do we mean by stoichiometry in chemical calculations?

Stoichiometry deals with calculations of masses of the reactants and the products involved in a chemical reaction.

The calculations based on a balanced chemical equation are stoichiometric calculations.

FOR EXAMPLE: ( please refer the above picture)

So we can see that from a balanced chemical equation we a derive information such as :

i) no. of moles

ii) molecules present

iii) volume

iv) mass of the atom.
