Answer:

Alexander or "Alexander the Great" is called as the World Conquer.

Explanation:

Alexander the Great was ruler of small kingdom of the Greek state of Macedonia. He was the son of Phillip II of Argead dynasty. Phillip was assassinated in 336 BC and after his death, Alexander succeeded him as the king of Macedonia.

He was pupil of greatest Greek philosopher Aristotle. At the age of 20, he set out on his goal of world conquest. He defeated many kings notably the Achamedians of Persia. When he reached the northwestern part of India on the banks of river Jhelum he met the king Porus.

Alexander and Porus fought near the banks of Jhelum which is called Hydaspes by Greeks and hence, the battle is known as Battle of Hydaspes, Porus was defeated in the battle. Alexander's army was exhausted from continuous battles and their next opponents were the Nandas of the Magadh, his army refused to go further and there ended his world conquest.
