As we know that a chemical reaction is said to be exothermic in which a certain amount of heat energy is released. The container in which reaction is carried gets heated up. Whereas, chemical reaction is said to be endothermic in which a certain amount of heat energy is absorbed. The container in which the reaction is carried becomes cold.
