In green chemistry we use our knowledge and the concepts of the chemistry or scientific method in order to reduce the opposite impact on the environment The main motive of green chemistry is to bring minimum pollution in our environment.

Green Chemistry in out day to day life:-
(i) Bleaching of Paper:- In earlier time chlorine was used for the bleaching paper. H2O2 or Hydrogen peroxide with best catalyst were used which boosted hydrogen's bleaching action.
(ii) Synthesis of Chemicals:- At the first step of oxidation of ethene in the presence of suitable ionic catalyst in its aqueous medium then it results to the production of ethanol (CH3CHO).
