Inertia of a moving body means the resistance of the body to persist it movement.
u=30m/s
v=0m/s, t=10s, m=1500 kg
F=ma
=1500 kg × (v-u)/t
=1500kg × (0-30)/10 ms^-2
=1500kg × -3 ms^-2
=-4500 N
Negative sign shows that the force is opposing the motion i.e it is acting in the opp. direction of motion.
Thus, force required=4500N
