Precipitation reaction is the Double displacement reaction where compounds exchange their ions to form new substance that is insoluble,Which is called precipitate.

The ex of white precipitate

Chemical equation

Na2SO4+BaCl2----->2NaCL+BaSO4⬇️

where BaSO4 is white (ppt) precipitate.

Ex of yellow precipitate

Pb(NO3)2 + 2KI -----> PbI2 + 2KNO3

Where lead iodide is yellow (ppt) precipitate.

I hope it will help u buddy.

Pls mark it as brainliest ans brother.

<i> A reaction in which an insoluble solid (called precipitate) is formed is called a precipitation reaction.For Example:

Na2CO3 (aq) + CaCl2 (aq) → CaCO3 (s) + 2NaCl (aq)

Sodium Carbonate + Calcium Chloride → Calcium Carbonate + Sodium Chloride

In this reaction, calcium carbonate is obtained as a precipitate. Hence, it is a precipitation reaction.
