Federalism is a system of government in which the power is divided between a central authority and various constituent units of the country. Usually, a federation has two levels of government.
For example- India, there is central govt, state govt and local govt. The similar example is of U.S.A.

It means more than one level government in a country. In India there are three level government Centre level, State level and Panchayat (village level)
