Hey mate here is your answer.
In the story"the lost child". A child was going to a fair with his parents.
He got distracted by everything he saw like dragon-flies,flieds,small insects, etc. Hence he gets lost in the fair. he cries for his parents.
According to me the ending should be that when he gets lost he meets with a stranger who takes him to control office of the fair. There he meets with his parents.
