In a democratic set up the citizens should have a clear awareness  of the rules and follow them intelligently and strictly. They should understand their rights and responsibilities correctly. It is not possible to exercise one's rights without limits. One person's right ends where the other person's right begins.

They should have a comprehensive knowledge of the political set up. They should know about the work being done by the leaders and the government. They should take an active part in elections and choose the right representative. They should make an unbiased choice keeping the prosperity of the country in mind. They should not allow themselves to be misled by greedy politicians.
