What do you understand by "sedition"? does the indian law require a provision on sedition?

Sedition is the act of organizing rebellion against the authorities usually through speech or writing.
I believe that the Indian law does indeed require a provision against sedition as it is a blatant misuse of the rights provided by the Constitution and rebellion against a democratic rule is actually very wrong. As the head of state is chosen by the people themselves in the first place and there are better methods than rebelling against authority to satisfy the demands
