Hi there!,
The term means that everyone is equal in the eye of law and no one can be judged by their religion, caste, colour. It is very important because no one should be judged. Everyone is equal and the law should give chances to each. We cannot discriminate between the poor and the rich. It is a criminal offence and we should not do it. Hope it helps you!!
