we have a computer or a laptop. in a computer, we need a web cam. and an application where u do conference like skype, zoom, webex, and many more....
skype the s best app for video calling. we can share the screen and we can do group call. available in the app store and play store. we can call every where in this world. 
in zoom, its for online meeting or we can call a meeting as a webinar. its not free we have to pay money if our meeting host says.
in webex its also for online meeting or webinars. its free and we can share screen there too.
