With the help of chlorophyll present in them they used to split up the water into hydrogen ions and oxygen ions..

Hydrogen ions are used for food process and oxygen ions are emitted out...

water is very essential source for plant growth ..

water helps in transporting important nutrients through plants... WAter is drawn from plants through roots from soil and send it all over plant body..

water is stored in xylem tissue and main source for photosynthesis ...

water carries dissolved sugars and other nutrients through plants...
