What does the poem night of the scorpion says about a mother in about 40 to 60 words
Answers
The poem reveals that mothers, all across the world are so caring, protective about their children that they don’t hesitate even risking their own lives for the sake of their children and family members. They sacrifice everything for the safety of their children. Here the mother was thankful to God for sparing her children from the scorpion’s bite. She did not blame Him for letting the scorpion bite her.
The poem tells that a mother can do anything including risking her life. As it is shown in the poem that the scorpion bit her but she didn't let anything happen to her child. In the stanza:
"My mother only said
Thank God the scorpion picked on me
and spared my children"
it shows that after all these she still cared about her child.
