during the night time ,there are no animals . the sun has also set . the tree is left alone . there are no singing birds on its branches . the weather seems gloomy . the cold breeeze blows at night . the leaves of the tree make a crackling sound . the poet refers to this sound which seems to the poet as the sound of loneliness.
