The cell whose cell contents have been withdrawn from it's cell wall when the cell was placed in a hypertonic solution, that cell is called a plasmolysed cell

a cell is said to be plasmolysed when it is placed in hypertonic solution and all its consitutents came out from the cells and the cell starts to shrink due to diffusion.
