Both parties saying they want negotiation through talks but let me explain what are prerequisite for that from both sides.
China wants to talk but asks India to move its Army back first.
India wants to talk but want BOTH THE COUNTRIES ARMY to move back first and the ROAD BUILDING BY CHINA SHOULD BE STOPPED as it changes status quo.
Now I don’t know why this is so much to ask. You want to talk, you want Indian Army to back off, then you should also do the same. Remember issue is not that Indian Army is there at that standoff point, issue is China was building road on that disputed piece of land, a road which can be used to move Army.
