What happened when gulliver tried to get free?

When Gulliver woke up, he found himself, stranded and tied up in ropes, laying down on his back, as a group of very tiny human beings, carried on to ensure, he is kept tied.
However, as he woke up, he found it easy to get out of the thin ropes and he freed himself pretty quickly. This scared all the little humans on the island who quickly resorted to using archers and other weapons in order to stop him.
Soon, though, Gulliver became friends his new hosts on the island
