Heya!!!

Here's your answer,

If saliva was not secreted in our mouth then the food will not be able to mix with it and our alimentary canal has a soft lining so passage should be softer and further complex carbohydrates may not be converted into sugar

Hope it helps you

Here is the answer :

Saliva contains an enzyme "Salivary Amylase", It helps us in breaking down of food and making it soft ! If saliva is not secreted, Our food in the buccal Cavity won't be made into soft, and breaking down of it doesn't takes place, As a Result, When the food enters oesophagus, It may get stucked there [Since the food hasnt been converted into slippery substance ! ] Also you may die as a result of Choking !

Enzymes help us in a good manner ! They play a Major role in Digestion ! So, If saliva was not secreted, There are many consequences we may face ! Also dieing is one of the consequence !

Hope you understand !
Have a Great day !
