If the temperature becomes zero the water surface starts to freeze, but the water under the sea surface doesn't freeze at all even if the temperature is less than zero. Marine life is adapted to such temperature, aquatic mammals like whale make and maintain a hole in the ice surface and come to the surface of the water for breathing. There is no disadvantage or any harmful effect on the marine life when the temperature outside becomes less than zero degrees Celsius.Thankyou
