If rate of respiration becomes more than rate of photosynthesis then more of the water and Oxygen wil be consumed by plant and which will lead to larger amout of glucose formation. This glucose acts as food in plants.

Photosynthesis and respiration in plats is interrelated. Photosynthesis do the conversion of carbon dioxide into organic compounds with the presence of sunlight. While In respiration, the glucose and other compounds are oxidized to form carbon dioxide. So, f the rate of respiration becomes more than the rate of photosynthesis then it may led to the death of plant.
