What happens to the CO2 collected in our body?

when CO2 is collected in our cells, the blood capillaries bring waste material(i.e;CO2) into alveoli region.These alveoli transport it into alveoli sac and then to bronchi and then through trachea, the CO2 collected in our body gets into the environment.
