What happens to the density of water when it is cooled from 10° C to 4° C???​

At 4 deg C, the density of water is its max which is 1 g/mL. As it is warmed to 10 deg C the density decreases to 0.9997 g/mL. It also decreases upon cooling from 4 deg C and at 0 deg C, the density is 0.9998 g/mL.
