When iodine solution is applied to the endosperm the endosperm starts looking out for a egg cell and it forms a zygote all around the iodine solution process.
Endosperm is a tissue that covers and provides the needed nourishment to the embryo within the seeds of an angiosperm.
Moreover, starch is the main nutrient within the endosperm and when iodine mixes with starch, it starts to turn blackish in colour.
