What happens to the resistance of a circuit if the current through it is doubled?

According to Ohm's Law, V=IR
which can turn into I= \frac{V}{R}
Therefore, I is inversly proportional to R

This tells us that, if I becomes 2I then R will become  \frac{R}{2}
