What happens wheb copper(ll) sulphate is heated in a test tube?

when hydrous copper sulphate(blue in colour) is heated it releases water of crystallisation and becomes anhydrous copper sulphate (white colour)
CuSO4.5H2O ------> CuSO4 + 5H2O
