➡Na2SO4 + BaCl2 → BaSO4(↓) + 2NaCl

white ppt. of BaSO4 is formed

➡ reaction would not take place if both were in solid state

➡ precipitation reaction & double displacement reaction

Thanks for asking

When sodium sulphate reacts with barium chloride it forms a white precipitate (barium sulphate).

Balanced equation with physical states are:

Na²So4 (aq) + BaCl² (aq) —> BaSO4 (s) + 2Nacl (aq)

Its a Double Displacement Reaction.
